Young people join campaigning politician to shape mental health strategy

The WMAHSN has been commissioned to develop a strategy report to develop an integrated systems-wide approach to support the prevention of mental ill-health. The strategy uses an evidence-based approach underpinned by the key principles of co-design, co-production and sustainability to identify key recommendations for focused work. Here, WMAHSN's Mental Health Programme Lead, Sarah Appleby, explores how a recent workshop gave young people the valuable opportunity to input into the strategy.
