Orthopaedic study evening - knee and shoulder

17 January 2018 Postgraduate Centre, The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, The Woodlands, Bristol Road South, Birmingham B31 2AP

This study evening will offer two hours of learning time (with confirmation issued on attendance), and is tailored for GPs, physiotherapists, chiropractors and other healthcare professionals. It will consist of three consultant lectures as follows:

6.15pm - Buffet, refreshments and registration; if more convenient, please feel free to arrive for 6.45pm ready for the lectures to begin    

Lectures from the following Knee and Shoulder Orthopaedic Consultants:

  • 6.45pm - Mr Samir Massoud- “Rotator cuff repairs: Why do them and how good are the results?”
  • 7.30pm - Mr Duncan Learmonth - “Subacromial decompression and arthroscopic menisectomy: Operations to avoid?”
  • 8.15pm - Mr Marcus Green - "Reconstruct and replace, or regenerate and replenish- a New Years approach to Orthopaedic disease"
