The summit will focus on the life sciences industry within the West Midlands, and the opportunities this affords not just in improving the health of the local population, but as a key driver of economic growth. The event will have three overarching themes: digital health; the West Midlands Combined Authority; and Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STPs).
The objective of the Investigators' Master Class is to achieve enhanced clarity around specific areas of investigation practice, and to assist the audience in improving their investigation and report writing skills. It is only intended for staff who have significant experience of conducting serious incident investigations on behalf of their trust, including delivery of the investigation report.
NHS England’s Sustainable Improvement team and London South Bank University are hosting free webinars on network leadership. They will provide know-how and insights into what it takes to lead networks, partnerships and collaborations.
This summit will explore the mechanisms for identifying existing technologies and for working with partners in developing new tools and services that benefit the West Midlands region, and will launch the new WMAHSN Digital Health and Data Service, encourage involvement from those with a stake in digital health across the West Midlands and explore the art of the possible, looking towards the future of digital health in the region.
