Framework for Patient and Public Participation in Primary Care Commissioning

Posted on 21 January 2016 (Permalink)

Patients and the public, as well as key NHS staff such as Directors of Commissioning Operations, Heads of Primary Care, Primary Care Commissioners and Contract Managers, Communications and Engagement Teams and Patient Experience Teams, are being asked to review and send feedback on frameworks for patient and public involvement (PPI).

NHS England is developing bespoke frameworks for participation for each commissioning area to complement the Patient and Public Participation Policy and Statement of Arrangements. A working group of staff and stakeholders have developed a draft Framework for Patient and Public Participation in Primary Care Commissioning. NHS England welcomes further feedback from staff, and from patients and the public, by 12 February.

To leave feedback on these documents, please visit NHS England's engagement site
