NuVision Biotherapies, a spin-out company from the University of Nottingham, is working with Pym's Consultancy to seek the opinions of specialist professionals in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers via a short online survey.
They are aiming to gain a clearer understanding of the views and opinions of UK specialists in the field of diabetic foot care, as to the potential use of amniotic tissue for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Amnion-derived protocols have become part of standard practice within the United States, with some evidence of improved healing times and outcomes. They are currently investigating if this may become the case in the UK, and if so, what might be required in order for products to become available at different NHS trusts.
Healthcare professionals are asked to answer an online survey which takes three minutes to complete through this link. The opinion of respondents is greatly valued, and by assisting with this survey they are helping to focus innovation funding where it can be most effectively spent..
