WMAHSN has launched a brand new video, showcasing its Serendip® Digital Health Quarter

Based at Innovation Birmingham's iCentrum building, the Serendip® Smart City Incubator programme provides market access and expertise for digital start-up businesses, with the WMAHSN the partner in the Digital Health Quarter.

The  Digital Health Quarter seeks out proven digital innovations with the potential to save lives, improve health and create wealth. Tenants are supported to develop products, tools and services designed in response to genuine needs of the healthcare sector, enabling the digital health start-ups to maximise their chance of success. As well as free high-tech office space for six months, the companies gain access to a database of market influencers, clients and collaborators, as well as admission to over 140 specific start-up and innovation-focused events.

The video, entitled "Serendip® Digital Health Quarter - unleashing the power of healthcare innovation", features three of the Serendip® tenants - Stan from Give Vision, Julie from Move it or Lose it! and Mahnaz from Medstars - talking about how their residency, as well as the support of WMAHSN, has helped them develop their business, unlock investment and accelerate the adoption of their innovations at scale and pace in the NHS market, ultimately benefiting patients.

Neil Mortimer, Business Manager at WMAHSN, explains how this improves both patient care and the local economy, while Innovation Birmingham's Hugo Russell outlines the key benefits of being a Serendip® tenant.
