This programme aims to improve patient access to their personal health information by developing and promoting the MyHealth@QEHB portal, which gives patients full online access to their records, results and correspondence held by UHB.The portal has been enhanced and now has more than 7,000 patients accessing their healthcare information. Dissemination activities have generated demand from regional NHS partners for a structured approach to spreading the learning from MyHealth regionally.

Programme Outcomes

  • Enhancement of existing service, including Care Planning functionality.
  • Strategies to package MyHealth@QEHB for wider adoption.
  • A dissemination paper has been produced and shared with NHS, industry and academic partners across the West Midlands.
  • A dissemination event was held in February 2015 with 57 attendees across 31 organisations.
  • Demand generated from regional NHS partners for a structured approach to spreading the learning from MyHealth regionally.
