Free membership with Move it or Lose it

Published on 14 December 2020

With funding from Sport England, Move it or Lose it has launched an online club to help older people stay active and connected while they are at home.

Everyone can get a free month to help them over Christmas and the dark days of January by using the code XMASFREE when they join.

It’s normally £4.99 month on subscription and can be cancelled at any time, there’s no commitment and the first 300 people will get a free resistance band too.

The Club has exercises for all abilities, both seated and standing, including strength circuits, exercises in the kitchen and the garden, meditation, beginner’s ballet and full 45 minute routines to music.

The social club has art sessions, book club, healthy eating tips, quizzes, bingo, pharmacist’s and physiotherapist’s advice, cookery sessions and more so there’s lots to watch or join in with.  Find out more at Join Move it or Lose it or contact Julie Robinson at club@moveitorloseit.co.uk

Move It or Lose It also has 30 free six-month memberships (with more to follow soon). Social prescribers and organisations/charities working with older people are encouraged to nominate those who need longer term support to stay active at home – until the vaccine is rolled out and we can get back to normal. Submit a nomination at https://www.moveitorloseitclub.co.uk/nominate-an-older-person/
