WMAHSN is partnering with Connected Local Government Live, which is bringing together innovators across local public services in a ‘festival of thinking and events about a devolved and digitally enabled future’. The event will be held on 28 and 29 June at The Bond Centre in Digbeth, Birmingham.
A key feature of the event is the Digital Innovation Showcase for health and social care on 29 June. This follows the same format as the highly successful Care Apps Showcase held on 7 March 2017 (see video here) and is a cross between Dragon’s Den and a speed dating session. Participants get to hear about apps and digital innovations applicable to health and social care, and have the opportunity to engage immediately with their developers.
A ticket (discounted for WMAHSN members) will entitle you to attend the showcase along with a range of other workshops, briefings and masterclasses related to digital innovation across public services covering libraries, planning, social care and waste management, digital inclusion, digital and data literacy, online security, and accessibility.
Delegates can buy tickets for either day of the event and build their own programme from the sessions on offer. Book here before 12 noon on 15 May and take advantage of the early bird discount by using the code EBWMASHNMember.
