An introduction to our incubator and accelerator programmes
Our incubator and accelerator programmes are designed to help innovators understand regional and national NHS challenges and connect them to the support they need to help address these challenges.
By helping innovators to understand NHS needs and navigate the system, we aim to transform patient care and deliver economic growth.
Our three incubator and accelerator programmes:
Meridian Innovation and Commercial: Health and Social Entrepreneurial Academy
The aim of the academy is to support health and care professionals to discover, develop and deploy innovative solutions to regional health and care challenges – meeting reginal priorities and supporting sustainability and transformation partnerships [STP].

Serendip 2.0 Incubator and Accelerator Programme 2022
The programme is delivered in partnership with Bruntwood Sci-Tech Innovation Birmingham and part of the Serendip Smart City Incubator. It provides successful applicants, tech companies developing innovative health and social care products and services in the West Midlands, with support and guidance from us here at HIWM and the wider academic health science network.

Fuse: Health and Wellbeing
FUSE incubator start-up programme provides a three-month intensive support package plus access to early-stage funding to kick-start and ignite socially driven business in health and social care in the West Midlands.
